Overview

JOB PURPOSE

This role will ensure effective security operations at  all  Indian GMR Airports by close coordination with all Chief Security Officers. He will also responsible for setting up and managing the operations of the company in the country, developing and implementing strategies to achieve the company’s goals. Maintain strong liason with key stakeholders such as CISF, Immigration, Customs & State Police.

Accountabilities:

Policy Advocacy

  • The post holder is responsible to lead policy and advocacy (security) works at the Group level.

Planning: –

  • Develop proper plans for implementation of all initiatives suggested by the Management and regulatory bodies.

Technology

  • Uniform Implementation of all Regulatory initiatives such as digi yatra, Biometric AEPs, FBS, CTX and any new initiatives which comes up time to time.

Strategy

  • Providing inputs of strategic level to top management for strategy formulation to fulfill the organization’s Vision,

Security Risk Identification and Mitigation

  • Constantly track and monitor security threats – gather intelligence and conduct research regarding security threats. Collaborate with the appropriate law enforcement authorities to share information & continuously track any security risk and take steps to mitigate them.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the nodal point of contact for collaboration with all security and law enforcement agencies – for all matter related to the airport security as well as entire GMR group.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate/PG from reputed university
  • Exposure to modern gadgets used in Airport Security

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Total 25 years in Police/Central Police /Intelligence/BCAS and 05 years in Airport Security
