  Purpose 
 
The Officer UX & UI Design supports the ideation, development and translation of concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences across mobile, desktop, IFE, kiosk and zero-touch interfaces 
 
In order to do so, responsibility for implementation is shared within an inter-departmental structure working alongside T&I, GE, Marketing, Brand, Airport teams, etc.  The officer’s role is to provide leadership at peer-level, support and oversight as well as taking lead on activities driven from the Brand & Customer committee 
 
 Accountabilities 

 
Supports the facilitation of Etihad’s Customer Experience vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products  
Responsible for driving and applying user-centered design processes 
Understanding of areas of specialisation within the greater design landscape, including but not limited to design research, visual design, and human-centred design; willingness to broaden own skillset into adjacent specialisations whilst developing mastery of primary skillset 
With support from managers in the team, design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for Etihad’s omni-channel touch-points  
Manages and updates Etihad’s design language “Elements”, designing all icons, ensures governance is maintained and front-end design is consistent across all EY branded touchpoints  
Manages work-flows and project management with IT where required 
Works collaboratively with the Marketing, Product management teams, vendors, solution providers and creative agencies to drive the design of UX & CX recommendations to create differentiated and innovative Etihad experiences 
This role eventually progresses into one of the other three specialisms in the team – Manger Service Design, Manager UX or Manager Interaction Design. 
 
 Education & Experience   

As this is an emerging specialism within a digital context, the candidate should preferably have a bachelor’s degree in Digital Design or Human Centred Design 
Minimum 2+ years in UX design experience, client or agency side; preferably within a user centred design environment
