Lockheed Martin is looking for an energetic and high performing Systems Engineer to join the team in Boulder, CO.

This position is in support of the Enterprise Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Solution (EOS) program. Please note this position is contingent upon contract award which is expected in Jan 2025

In this role you will:
– Have general knowledge of system architecture and ongoing/future changes to system affecting system design at a high level; also understanding program processes
– Prepare for and participate in program meetings, boards, and design reviews
– Ensure requirements are captured and allocated to appropriate tests
– Perform technical detailed test planning, system integration and testing for verification and validation
– Support System Certification Activities

Basic Qualifications:
• Familiarity with testing and problem solving for integrated systems
• Experience analyzing and decomposing requirements
• Experience developing and executing test plans
• Active or Current Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with OPIR and/or SBIRS mission processing
• Experience with IT/WAA system certification activities
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
• Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences of varying technical knowledge
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Current TS/SCI security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
