Role Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key business partner reporting into the Director, Business Finance. They will provide regular management reporting, business analytics, variance analysis and decision support to senior management and stakeholders throughout the organization. The individual will understand revenue and cost drivers, provide the business with insights to improve and predict performance, and lead variance analysis. They will ensure results are tracked against budget/forecast and develop insights and analysis that drive results. Key responsibilities will also include commercial analysis of deal economics, decision support, and to best position Anuvu’s product offering. They will partner with segment and other functional leaders throughout the organization to deliver the most impactful information to key stakeholders and ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of the prescribed reports.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, self-motivated, hands-on person with excellent organizational and project management skills, along with the ability to set and meet strict timelines. They will possess the ability to navigate through various financial and accounting systems and simplify big data to create clear value-added management tools and reports to support decision-making. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, think proactively/independently, very strong modelling skills, strong excel and data analytics skills, a deep desire to be successful, and a passion for finance.

Location: Denver, CO

Remote Options: Currently remote due to COVID, but will eventually be on a hybrid schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support long term strategic planning, annual budgeting, and the rolling forecast process
  • Prepare regular monthly financial reports to provide timely insight related to business results and trends
  • Conduct analysis to support the delivery of monthly management & board level reviews
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve client performance, including the preparation and analysis of financial models to evaluate new business opportunities
  • Create business cases and pricing models for RFPs and other upsell/cross sell opportunities
  • Assist with preparation of key pitches including monthly operational reviews, quarterly financial results, estimates and planning
  • Drive process improvement through implementations of new processes, tools, and sharing of best practices
  • Be a team player working with multiple cross functional teams in a collaborative and constructive manner
  • Partner with Account Management and regional VPs to perform analysis supporting revenue and margin expansion

What we’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting OR equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5+ years of finance experience, with an emphasis in complex organizations
  • Proven track record of delivering on commitments, developing impactful analytical tools
  • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamics
  • Demonstrated experience successfully participating in the financial planning processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with and influence others at all organizational levels
  • High level of organizational astuteness, professionalism, executive presence and poise.
  • Strong communications skills and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and with senior management are a must.
  • Full understanding of accounting principles and all financial statement interactions along with the understanding of the business drivers and how they drive results
  • Must be comfortable working with raw data and transforming it into insights and information to use in management decision making
  • Proven track record of delivering well organized, highly accurate, and articulate work product
  • Strong analytical and problems solving skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to others, inside and outside of finance, with impact
  • Must be a self-starter who understands both the details and larger context of various business issues and processes

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000 – $95,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, certifications…etc.
