Synopsis

The SAP FICO Expert will be responsible for Service to identify, detail and solve reported incidents such as functional defects and malfunctions in interfaces. Adaptive Maintenance BAU Enhancement: Service to provide for new configuration or custom development updates, additions, and deletions within the implemented system and functionality that is already in production as well as enabling existing functionality.

Accountabilities

  • Handling SAP Finance modules independently
  • Support SAP tickets within agreed SLA timelines
  • Responsible for Tickets and Incidence management for supporting/preventive and perfective maintenance
  • Address bug fixes arising in SAP application system
  • Prepare RCA for major incidence
  • Support system audit for SAP system
  • Regular monitoring of batch jobs/interfaces and take corrective actions
  • To adapt to agile methodology of support
  • To monitor and analyze trends in order to identify potential problems and to recommend appropriate initiatives to improve the application and the operation of the same.
  • To improve future maintenance productivity through analysis of a service, performance or other non-functional parameters.

Education & Experience

  • 5 – 7 years of relevant SAP support experience, including SAP implementation knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree is mandatory
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide the required resolution
  • Ability to interact with Business and Key Management stakeholders
  • Capable of handling SAP FICO module independently
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards
  • Good communication skills
