Synopsis

Etihad has an exciting role to lead the overall commercial approach for the West region (Europe & Americas). In this role you will plan and lead the sales force to ensure sales targets are met in the most efficient and effective manner to provide the proper contribution to overall Etihad’s objectives are reached.

Accountabilities

  • Deliver revenue target as per agreed budget within defined cost of sales and manpower plan.
  • Implement the distribution strategy within own region in terms of channel shift, NDC and dealing strategy.
  • Lead the implementation of the new sales operating and monitor the implementation and adoption of sales guidelines across the markets to ensure a consistent approach in dealing with customers and intermediaries.
  • Ensure performance management, coaching and mentoring of the staff on all levels with each area
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of short and long-term sales plans to ensure alignment with Etihad’s overall strategy.
  • Direct and prioritize the selling activities within the Area, inclusive of resource deployment, channel strategy and customer interactions, to ensure sales targets are reached in accordance with corporate objectives.
  • Review and highlight to top management major issues impacting sales results to ensure they are timely and properly addressed.
  • Review and monitor sales reports to ensure timely identification of potential risks and adoption of corrective actions .

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education/program
  • Minimum 10 years commercial airline experience at strategic level with full market knowledge of the West region
  • Leading change, proven leadership capabilities in change management
  • Coach, mentor and performance management experience
