As an Online Content Editor, this post will help make sure that our external content (online and in publications) is clear, relevant and up to date. The post holder will join the CAA’s Communications Department, which provides an integrated service to the organisation, delivering activity across a range of functions including media relations, stakeholder engagement, content, publications and internal communications.
The role will primarily be helping the organisation to update its website and publication content to reflect the necessary changes post EU-Exit in a planned and coordinated manner. This will entail working with the wider Communications team as well as Subject Matter Experts across the organisation to develop these changes and then make the amendments to web pages and publications. In doing so the post holder will need to maintain a high level of accuracy and checking.
We are looking for an Online Content Editor who has an interest in the aviation industry and have the following:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of working with website technologies and content management tools.
- Skilled in the use of standard Microsoft products.
- Experience of, or an ambition to work with, integrated communications is desirable
- Experience of, or an ambition to work with content and channels is desirable
- Able to multitask and prioritise work schedules
- Excellent listening and facilitating skills.
