Lay Up Technician TR Job Description
Job Summary
Assists other team members with lay-up and fabricate composite aircraft parts.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
+ Assist in lay-up and fabrication of composite aircraft parts, major components, and structures using prepreg composite fabrics and other materials.
+ Learning the Kanban system for SF and SR.
+ Observe and learn the proper use of WI, Solumina, and the completion of the layup portion of CSOs.
+ Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas.
+ Complete Cirrus University training
+ Attention to detail required. Ensures that all assigned work areas are kept clean, orderly, and always presentable. Apply the 6S principle (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety).
+ Complies with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties.
+ Must be able to understand all process specifications and pertinent reference information.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines and report any hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
+ Wears proper protective equipment during appropriate job functions.
+ Complies with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties.
+ May be assigned to different work areas as production needs require.
+ Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Lead, Department Supervisor, or Line Manager.

+ High School Diploma or GED or 1-12 months experience and training combined
+ 1-3 months related experience and/or training
+ Equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Technician Level I (6 months)
