Synopsis
The Etihad Airways in-house social media team work on developing creative and effective content ideas to drive business results. The team sits within the marketing function and works closely with marketing, brand, paid media and visual communications to develop best in class content. We are looking to bring on a Social Media and Content Manager to help drive the business forward.
Accountabilities
- Lead marketing and social media campaigns that contribute to an increase in overall engagement rate and sentiment.
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to develop content alongside in-house and partner agencies (ideation, direction, production).
- Lead the activation of key sponsorships and partnerships such as Manchester City and Etihad Arena.
- Lead influencer campaigns with a diverse set of regional and international influencers.
- Prepare and present reports that demonstrate results and contribution to engagement, reach, influence, and business growth.
- Maintain relationship with partner platforms, such as Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
- Support in evolving the airline’s approach to using social media in issues and crisis management
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Design or Digital Marketing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist, of which 2 years in a global agency or global brand.
- Fluency in English. Arabic would be a plus.
- Demonstrate understanding of social analytics tools.
- Existing relationships with influencers both regionally and globally.
- Advanced understanding of design/editing tools such as photoshop, illustrator and video editing.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in social media paid advertising.
