Overview
Purpose
• Prepare consolidated financial statements of Etihad Aviation Group PJSC in compliance with IFRS.
• Ensure accuracy in deliverables provided to senior management
Accountabilities
• Monthly closing of the book (includes review of profit or loss and balance sheet and comparison between actual figures and budgeted figures)
• Work closely with Financial Planning and Analysis team to support them on budgeting and forecasting process
• Review current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and bring efficiency
• Liaise with statutory auditors to get the audit of the financial statements as per agreed timelines
• Ensure accuracy and quality in deliverables to be submitted to senior management
• Support business units on enquiries related to accounting treatment for key business transactions
• Provide guidance to the direct reports to enable their personal development and growth within the department
Education & Experience
• Chartered Accountant
• 5 to 7 year’s experience at managerial level in statutory reporting
