Synopsis
Develop and execute the Etihad Cargo Ecommerce plan in coordination with the Senior Manager Commercial Operations & Products. . Responsible for developing longer term strategies that ensures Etihad builds and maintains a leadership position in the Ecommerce logistics segment in a differentiated manner that captures more of the value chain and builds and contributes to the growth and support of an Ecommerce ecosystem in Abu Dhabi
Accountabilities
- Project Manage the development and rollout of the Etihad Cargo Ecommerce strategy
- Manage multiple stakeholders (internal and external) to align and support the Ecommerce strategy
- Build and develop relationships with major global Ecommerce players (both B2C and B2B) and be the go to person for this market segment within the organisation
- Work closely with the network, revenue management, commercial and operational teams within Etihad Cargo to support and drive Ecommerce volume growth
- Identify new opportunities in the Ecommerce space and build business cases to take advantage of those opportunities
- Lead discussions and negotiations with Ecommerce players and providers on joint business arrangements and ventures utilising support of wider EAG stakeholders and 3rd party advisors as required
- Develop a parallel strategy for, and oversee the management of, the mail product in order to integrate and align that with the wider Ecommerce opportunity
- Represent Etihad Cargo at industry events and trade shows to build Etihad Cargo’s profile in the Ecommerce vertical, both in conjunction the Abu Dhabi ecosystem and on a standalone Etihad Cargo basis as required and be the voice of Ecommerce for Etihad Cargo
Education & Experience
- Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level
- 10 years previous experience preferably with consultant / finance professional experience. Must have previously worked in the Ecommerce logistics space. Having wider operational logistics experience is also of benefit
- Commercially focused individual with experience of developing business cases with third parties, negotiating contracts and successfully executing joint business opportunities
- Analytical mind set is a must. Good & confident communicator with ability to bring together multiple stakeholders.
- Language skills: Mandarin language skills would be advantageous
