Synopsis

Manage and leads activities for a 24/7 Cargo Revenue Management Capacity Control group. Management of day to day operational activities, including but not limited to flight level capacity optimization, actual vs. booked weight/volume variances, aircraft upgrades/downgrades, flight cancellations, off scheduled operations (OSO’s), RFS trucking network, and ULD balancing. Ensure the Cargo RM Pricing, Network Planning decisions are translated into Cargo RM Capacity Control operations to influence prioritization of yield, contribution and load factor. Ensure communication and transparency as one group with common goal. Consolidate and provide operational feedback to Cargo RM Pricing, Network Planning so adjustments can be made accordingly.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and Lead activities of 24/7 Cargo Revenue Management Operations Group & Customer Service Group.
  • Lead CRM Capacity Control team in support of Sales queries, Operations and Customer requirements for re-booking and/or re-routing based on operational constraints. Ensure team implement daily activities of optimization on our flights, coordination with CRM Pricing, Interline, Network Planning.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Customers, Sales & Operations Flight Planning Groups to coordinate daily operations plan and recovery logistics. Execution to maintain network productivity and service quality in view to maximize network contribution
  • Consolidate feedback data to Cargo RM planning group from CRM Capacity Control
  • Drive the inventory management strategy of the assigned regions to maximize revenue efficiency
  • Lead periodic route revenue performance analysis to identify revenue opportunities and drive improvements
  • Collaborate with commercial team leads to solicit support for network needs and improve revenue quality
  • Coach and develop team members in order to raise their analytical skills and bring analytical culture to their performance

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5 years of airline cargo operations management or related experience
  • Sound knowledge in logistics and supply chain management, customer service and support management, Cargo Revenue Management Systems, Cargo Reservation Systems, Advanced Cargo Skills and Procedures
