Synopsis
Guest Transport Planner ensures service provider has accurate forecast and runs an optimised schedule for coach & chauffeur operations to maximizing the customer experience and ensure business & cost optimization.
Accountabilities
- Establish and plan daily, weekly & monthly schedules to ensure service providers efficiently use their resources and control costs to work within budgets.
- Use the analytical, flight, marketing, fares and historical trends to effectively forecast trip capacity & mitigate potential risks.
- Evaluate and recommend changes in current chauffeur and coach models for efficiency and cost control.
- Maintain & review on time performance, standards and SLAs for transportation business units
- Anticipate organizational risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Review flight banks, guest loads on coaches to recommend best connectivity.
- Liase with key internal & external customers for regular reviews and relationship management.
- Ensure timely generation and submission of reports and invoices.
- Monitor compliance and work with vendors for compliance to eliminate infringement
- Evaluate existing business systems and processes and recommend improvements
- Review vendor performance on defined KPI metrics and ensure improvement plans and actions are taken
Education & Experience
- University graduate
- 5+ years’ experience in transportation, planning & logistics in operations with similar scale & premium handling experience
- 5+ years experience in service provider management for transportation business
- Strong experience with financials, analytics & numbers
- Strong organisational skills for planning schedules, journeys and loads
- Work experience in chauffeur & coach operations for aviation business is an advantage
