The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution from technologies and investments to supply chain, manufacturing and test operations, facilities management, and information technology services.
The Integrated Supply Chain team has a direct impact on program success, acting as a critical chain that links the end-to-end material flow together and ensures compliance.Our organization serves as the backbone of business operations enabling Ball Aerospace to achieve true mission partnership.
Government Property Administrator III
Administer Asset/Property control administrative activities to ensure continual accountability of Ball Aerospace Assets, Government, or associate Contractor product in accordance with applicable company policy or government regulations as overseen by the Department of Defense (DOD), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and or Ball Corporation/Ball Aerospace with respect to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or supplemental regulations flowed down by the Contracts organization.
What Youll Do:
+ Review contracts and regulatory documents to determine and ensure Ball Aerospaces ability to perform and fulfill contractual requirements pertinent to Asset/Property Management.
+ Follow all guidelines, policy, work instruction and documents published in the Ball Aerospace Business Process Library (BPL) or other online portals.
+ May provide guidance and interface with junior team members or programs to ensure compliance to Ball Aerospace procedural requirements pertaining to Government asset/property management accountability.
+ Implement or participate in property management self-assessments, including developing necessary metrics and performance checks. Report all results to Supervision or Asset/Property Management leadership.
+ Prepare or assist in development or preparation of reports concerning the status, allocation, utilization, progress, excess, and other related issues concerning property.
+ Prepare data relevant to Asset/Property facets and present objective data at the request of auditing agencies or internal audit requests of Ball leadership for all outcomes or elements in review.
+ May investigate and respond to Corrective Action Requests and follow up with functional departments as necessary.
+ Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes pertaining to Property and the impact to contract performance.
+ Maintain knowledge for the MMAS Standards and Internal Audit system, perform audits as necessary and supply support to programs and internal audits teams for all MMAS Compliance needs.
+ Manage key accuracy metrics i.e. (Bill of Materials, Cycle Count and Master Production Schedule) for Standards of DCAA and Outcomes of all DOD/NASA DCMA Audit areas.
+ Maintain Share-point type site of online data archives to maintain files, reports, objective evidence of audit, correspondence or any archival data element needed for historical reference or compliance.
+ May need to obtain and maintain a DOD Security clearance to perform job or access areas where Assets/Property are stored as well to perform program audits of sensitive nature.
+ Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company.Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
+ Perform other duties as necessary.
What Youll Need:
+ Bachelors degree plus 6 or more years of property administration experience; CPPA/CPPM preferred.
+ Each higher-level degree, i.e., Masters Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
+ 4 years or more Audit experience preferred.
+ Existing or prior relationships with DCMA, DCAA and/or familiarity with the charter of these organizations within the DoD contacting arena preferred.
+ Industry recognized certifications in Contracts, Supply Chain, Property, Logistics or Program Management preferred.
+ Experience with Government compliance, Government Contractor regulations, FAR, and DFARS as it relates to a breadth of Assets or Property operations.
+ Ability to effectively relate with others and cooperate as a team member.
+ Awareness in aerospace industry and/or government contracting and compliance procedures.
+ Ability to effectively interact with Ball leaders at the highest levels.
+ Solid and proven leadership skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
+ Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high performance work teams.
+ Some DoD/NASA Audit experience (i.e., CPSR, MMAS, Property Audits, etc.).
+ Some working knowledge of FAR, DFAR Supplements.
+ Must possess effective leadership, teamwork, organizational and presentation skills.
+ Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
+ Must be proficient with MS Office and must be able to work in a multi-task, fast-paced environment.
+ Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
+ Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.
+ Excellent communication skills.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location.Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:
+ HIRING SALARY RANGE: $71,000 – $96,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
