General Accountant

We are currently seeking a General Accountant for our Park City, UT location.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of Accounts Receivable, invoicing, working with customers on payment issues and working with internal program managers on payment issues.
  • Prepare ASC 606 revenue worksheet and corresponding journal entries.
  • Perform traditional general accounting functions such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Track fixed assets, maintain depreciation calculation software, and coordinate capital expenditure requests.
  • Support cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Prepare monthly use tax return and provide tax exemption certificates to vendors as required.
  • Monitor labor errors and correct them, researching the cause to help prevent future errors.
  • Reconcile travel expense reports and enter them in the general ledger.
  • Participate in month-end closing process.
  • Produce reliable and accurate reports to support operations and communicate internal financial metrics.
  • Ad Hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Accounting preferred
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in accounting environment. Manufacturing preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be a problem solver and team player
