Synopsis

This role reports to the Payments Product Owner and is responsible to provide the required knowledge and expertise of Payment ecosystem (both functional and technical) for transition of payment processes, technical set up of PSS migration. They drive quality control and will validate that the stories delivered meet the defined acceptance criteria. Together with good commercial awareness. This role will work with closely with Product Owners, Product Manager, to serve as the customer proxy and will support them in defining the product vision and roadmap. Structuring a variety of complex issues, the individual will use his Payments ecosystem knowledge to find the best solutions and support the implementation effectively.

Accountabilities

Reporting to the Payments Product Owner as part of the PSS Project, the individual’s responsibilities are listed below: 

•    Use your knowledge of Amadeus Booking platform and payment options with existing card scheme rules and payment regulations to create and maintain a seamless transition between one PSS to the other. 
•    Conduct functional analysis for solutions/systems to ascertain that the system/solution meets the card scheme rules and payment regulations. 
•    Manage and coordinate with the business, the user acceptance testing and align with Finance & Payments Product Owner for approvals and delivery plan
•    Accountable business owner to communicate and coordinate with Revenue Accounting, Payments, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure all key stakeholders are aligned with migration plan and are involved with their requirements
•    Responsible to support and implement the technical setup working closely with Technology partners, Internal IT teams & Project team reflecting the processes, policies & business rules in the new changed Amadeus setup
•    Define, where applicable an action plan with the relevant product manager(s) and other internal stakeholders where applicable and ensure the plan is managed through to completion to ensure that Amadeus Payments products are and remain compliant with Etihad requirements and with payment schemes’ rules and regulations.
•    Provide support in creation of business processes as part of the migration with close collaboration with Payments Product owner so that business teams are briefed on expected changes
•    Provide technical expertise to the Product lead, Product owner and PSS Stakeholders to help smooth transition of payment products to new platform

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Finance/Accounting is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services or payment services with Airline domain expertise strongly preferred.
  • Understand the financial and payment landscape (Acquirers, PSP, Gateways, Fraud Prevention, etc.) and have a good perspective on the product potential and benefits
  • Amadeus Payments Platform (e.g. payment gateway, PSP, processor, Invoicing, reconciliation and settlement) work experience is preferred
  • Relationship Management skills (key to the role due to high number of teams to interact with)
  • Recognized as an active team player, with excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Knowledge on MS Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
  • Project Management skills
