If you are an eCommerce/Digital sales expert in the Airline or travel trade, come join us as a Digital Sales Officer for the APAC region. You will add commercial value by developing and executing the digital sales plans and performing towards defined KPIs to meet revenue targets for the region. You will work in the fast-paced environment of e-commerce, and stay on top of trends and new technology.
Accountabilities
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Digital Sales Manager East Region in developing digital sales campaigns for assigned region/market developing and managing activities to drive revenue generation through etihad.com (ey.com) sites.
- Co-ordinate with Revenue Management fare sanctions for all campaign elements including targeted OandDs/sales and travel dates and terms and conditions.
- Ensuring ey.com websites for the (country) market (local language and English language) are operational and content is accurate and up-to-date at all times.
- Prepare all-inclusive fare documents to brief Online Fares team for website fare displays.
- Identify revenue opportunities to sell Ancillary Products on ey.com based on local market insights.
- Brief HQ marketing teams on local ey.com campaigns with a focus on database building, email, affiliate marketing, SEO/SEM, Meta-Search, PPC and digital content.
- Identify partnership opportunities such as Tourism Boards, code share value-adds, loyalty and competition elements.
- Understand online travel agent business models and key drivers to success within this sales channel.
- Co-ordinate with the Digital Transformation teams to provide local insights to ensure ongoing changes, new developments and improvements to EY website, mobile and APP meet local market requirements.
- CUG’s | Co-ordination with sales team for lead in their market, sanction and business case approvals. Lead the co-ordination of content and creative.
- Monitor sales KPIs and dashboards (based on revenues and targets) to identify areas of improvement, new initiatives and propose corrective actions.
Education & Experience
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Diploma (2 years or more).
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience within a Digital agency, Online Travel Agency or B2C e-commerce industry
- Ideally with airline industry background, if not at least with travel industry.
- Mandarin speaker – must be able to fully converse in Mandarin as a key Account Manager for specific Mandarin speaking accounts
- Must be a self -starter who can prove an ability to operate in a challenging environment and with multi-cultural teams
- Solid understanding of technology and systems used such as; GDS, CMS, Omniture, Adobe/Google analytics, Tableau, social media and other tools used to drive a digital/e-commerce channel.
- High computer literacy with good knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Excellent creative writing and presentation skills.
- Knowledgeable in data mining and analysis.
