CUSTOMER WELLNESS CHAMPION
This exciting new role, a first of its kind for Fiji and the Australia-Pacific region, will lead and drive medical safety for Fiji Airways customers and staff, on the ground and in the air. Starting from airport check-in and through to the conclusion of an international flight, the Customer Wellness Champions (CWC) will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all health requirements during service interactions. The CWC will work alongside Fiji Airways staff on the ground and Cabin Crew in the air to uphold the highest possible standards of wellness and medical safety. Reporting to the in-house company Doctor, the CWC will enhance first responder assistance during on-board medical emergencies, and conduct wellness training for staff. This unique and highly rewarding role requires travelling internationally on the Fiji Airways network. Qualification in medical or pre-hospital care and a desire to provide the best health and safety assistance with Fijian Care to our customers and staff is essential for the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and executing all relevant COVID-19 health and safety compliance protocols for customers and staff
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislations, regulatory procedures and corporate policies
- Maintaining compliance with Safety and Emergency Procedures periodic training
- Integrating UP! Your Service principles in the delivery of health and wellness education
- Ensuring service excellence and consistently delivering a desired level of service
- Collaborating with the in-house company Doctor and relevant stakeholders in continually enhance Fiji Airways’ care and wellness processes, in accordance with national and international health & safety standards. Strive to always make the customers journey and staff workplaces as safe as possible
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest aviation and medical industry standards in the airline’s key markets
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Medicine, Nursing or Pre-Hospital Care
- Experience with a reputable medical practice or government health service is desired
- Experience with delivering training and relevant Train the Trainer qualifications will be advantageous
- Must have the ability of obtain visas and travel unrestricted throughout Fiji Airways’ international network
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external audiences of all levels
