Synopsis

Responsible for the effective use of resources associated with the work process and the maintenance of the Corporate Security software applications and platforms. 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in computer science or a technology-related field. 
  • 2-3 years of experience in an information security role. 

Accountabilities

  • Ensure the Corporate Security Infrastructure, its data, files and applications are protected against known threats and attacks and report any emerging threats to Department of Technology & Innovation (DTI) immediately.  
  • Monitor the maintenance of Corporate Security Infrastructure to ensure the accurate and proper action is taken. 
  • Design and plan security assessment and surveys to timely identify potential security threats and ensure continuous improvement of operating procedures in compliance with internal and external regulations.  
  • Provide advice on and be involved in tasks and actions in response to issues, problems and incidents related to CS Infrastructure.  
  • Provide 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line IT support and to CS platforms users to ensure smooth operations.  
  • Diagnose and solve CS software faults in a way that does not contradict with DTI Policies and ensure documentation of work performed. 
  • To provide technical support and advice to system users, including procedural documentation where applicable. 
  • Support CS end users in enhancing and implementing amendments required on CS platforms for operational improvements and requirements. 
  • Provide periodic and ad-hoc reports to Manager Corporate Security & ISS. 
  • Carry out any other security functions as may be directed from time to time.
