Overview
Synopsis
- To lead the team and advance the way this team provides enabler functions in Cargo Commercial Department: Product Management, eCommerce and Post, Business Development and Contact Center
- Covers all aspects of facilitating, implementation, support, execution and adoption of the sales operating model, sales strategies, policies and guidelines in Commercial department.
- Manages Cargo projects (e.g. periodic reviews of GSA/CSP performance and selection; development of eCommerce, etc.)
Accountabilities
- Prepare annual commercial budgets with the Commercial Directors and wider commercial planning team
- Provide support on sales strategy using the processes of segmentation and channel strategy implementation, sales planning, contracting and performance management, new revenue opportunities pipeline management
- Provide management support to Commercial Directors on all matters related to performance and compliance including management reporting and presentations
- Provide support to the sales teams on all matters related to sales operation model and performance management
- Lead and structure Revenue Management and Network Planning coordination for key markets
- Monitor and facilitate correct use of available tools (e.g. Sales Force) to ensure commercial activities are being conducted in line with policy and process guidelines
- Delivery of Product budget jointly with Sales. Engagement with specialized shippers.
- Design and execution of Product strategy, including Product reviews, development and certification, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, development and maintenance of SoPs, QC, support to Sales (collaterals, training, lead generation, guidance)
- Optimisation of Mail and establishment of new eCommerce business
Operation, optimization of the scope and performance of Contact Center
Education & Experience
- Bachelors’ degree, in a business related discipline
- 8 years experience from the Cargo industry and/or in field experience
- Project management, field sales and/or experience from Commercial Strategy & Planning
- Teamwork, supportive yet able to challenge
- Fact based and able to analyze data to form decision making
- Structured and able to articulate complex topics across levels
